Onsite Training Programs
Applied Business Forecasting provides onsite training programs convenient for
both large and small organizations. Designed to deliver the course content of
our online classes at your location, programs are adapted to meet the specific
needs of each client. The pace and depth of each training session is determined
by the client, and industry-specific examples and case studies will be developed
to provide for immediate application of forecasting techniques to the workplace.
Training programs can be adapted to:
- include any of the course content covered in our online courses and other
specialized topics as requested
- meet the scheduling requirements of the client
- provide the skill level desired by the client
Examples of training options include:
- A survey of quantitative forecasting techniques utilizing the ForecastX
Microsoft Excel-Based software. This 10-week training session meets one evening
per week from 6 to 9 PM at the client's offices. This is an introductory level
course focusing on sales forecasting.
- An intensive introduction to econometrics and the Eviews statistical software
package. This 5-day session meets daily from 8 AM to 5 PM. This course requires
a background in basic statistics and algebra and focuses on forecasting macroeconomic
factors.
- A private ongoing tutorial delivered to a senior marketing executive. This
training session focuses on introducing the executive to forecasting techniques
and methodologies enabling him or her to better understand the forecast process
and the risks associated with internally generated forecasts. Training sessions
are at the convenience of the executive.
